Photography

This ongoing series began as a personal project. I started collecting textures, patterns, and all sort of inspiring images. The goal was to build a bank of images to use in my design work.

After a while, a deeper meaning settled in. It became a process of witnessing often unnoticed details of my surroundings. Things that if I’m not present, in the moment, I would miss. Each photo is chosen for a specific reason. Some are selected for their textures, colours, contrasts, or shapes. In the end, they all have a little something that grabbed my attention.

The images are raw. Left as I witnessed them. I try to manipulate them as little as possible. They are snapshots of the real life. Physically around in my daily routine.

The collection has now grown in the thousands of images.
